Dry Dock Training
ADEC Kedge is committed to fostering excellence and safety within the maritime industry.
In partnership with esteemed training provider DM Consulting, we hosted our first 4-day Dry Dock Training event in Hobart, Tasmania, in April 2024. This collaborative effort brought together maritime professionals seeking to enhance their skills and knowledge of safety procedures related to the drydocking of ships and vessels.
Accredited by the Society of Naval Architects & Marine Engineers (SNAME) and the Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA), the course delved deep into every aspect of drydocking, from safety protocols to universal calculations and past accident analysis.
Participants gained invaluable insights, emerging with enhanced skills and a profound understanding of the drydocking process and associated risks.
We have received fantastic feedback from the participants of our first Dry Dock Training which highlights the demand for these types of training opportunities. We endeavour to hold further training events in various locations throughout Australia in the future which we will announce on our website and social media channels.
