Based in Hobart Tasmania covering all Australia, New Zealand, and the Asia Pacific area as required.

Adam first got his sea-legs on Arbella his family’s 36’ wooden yawl based on the eastern seaboard of America. After life in the military and a variety of sea-going jobs around Europe, Africa and the Indian Ocean, he attended university achieving a 1st Class Honours Degree in majoring in Yacht Manufacturing & Surveying. Keenly committed to ongoing profesional development he also holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Marine Engineering. Before moving to Tasmania and establishing Kedge Pty Ltd, he was employed at Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) in technical/managerial roles in the Domestic Vessel Division, Vessel Safety Unit and DV Standards AMSA. He has also worked as Principal Marine Surveyor – South Australian Department of Transport. Adam is an AMSA Accredited Marine Surveyor of Domestic Commercial vessels. He also holds deemed registration from Maritime NZ to survey commercial vessels going to and operating in New Zealand.  He is a Fellow and past President of the International Institute of Marine Surveying (IIMS) representing nearly 1,000 surveyors in 90 countries worldwide.
