ADEC Kedge is hosting several in-person Dry Dock Training courses this year in collaboration with training provider DM Consulting, recognised worldwide as a leading authority on the dry-docking of ships and vessels.

Can’t do the in-person training? Register your interest in an online course. We can arrange online training for private groups at any time. A minimum number of 10 participants applies.

Singapore: 8 -11 April 2025, at this stage, we are taking expressions of interest.

Sydney: 28 April – 1 May 2025

Online: On request (minimum number of 10 participants)

All-inclusive Price for in-person Training

Register and pay early for a discounted rate:

  • AUD3300 for bookings made earlier than 21 days before the training.
  • AUD3650 for bookings made within 21 days of the training.

Rates for the in-person training include all-day catering with morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea. All training material is provided.

Please note: Prices listed exclude GST. A 1.8% processing fee applies for online credit card payments and payments made over the phone. We reserve the right to cancel the training if the minimum number of 10 participants is not reached 14 days before the training.

About the Course

The Dry Dock Training Course provides in-depth technical guidance on the process of drydocking ships and vessels. The course begins with the basic principles and safety concerns and then progresses through all phases of drydocking: preparation and planning, drydocking, lay period, and undocking. The course ends with a discussion of past accidents.

DM Consulting’s Dry Dock Training Course has accreditation with both The Society of Naval Architects & Marine Engineers (SNAME) and The Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA). Both experienced and inexperienced dry dock personnel have benefited from attending the training.
